Noel Gallagher‘s latest single and the Lollapalooza 2023 line-up are among the biggest headlines we featured during the past week.

Noel Gallagher has shared his latest Council Skies album track Dead To The World.

“Dead To The World is by some distance my favourite tune on the album,” Gallagher said.

“It has this film noir vibe. It’s not like anything else I’ve ever done before. It’s very melancholic, but I like that. I’m a Gemini – I’m as up as I am down, and the trick is to meet somewhere in the middle and turn that into music.”

James will celebrate their 40th anniversary with the release on June 9th of the 22-track collection Be Opened By The Wonderful.

The album is set to comprise select songs from the band’s back catalogue which have been reimagined with a 22-piece orchestra and an 8-piece choir.

“Life begins at 40,” Tim Booth has said.

Wet Leg, Lewis Capaldi, Anne-Marie, Becky Hill, Niall Horan, Nothing But Thieves and Zara Larsson have been confirmed for Radio One’s Big Weekend event in Dundee this coming May.

There’s little sign of slowing down for Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers after the huge breakthrough of their self-titled debut album; Glastonbury just one of the places we caught them during last year’s busy summer festival season.

“Wet Leg couldn’t be hotter, and their early afternoon set at the Park Stage (with its largest-ever crowd, according to Emily Eavis) went down a storm,” our review reads.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Odesza, Lana Del Rey, Karol G and The 1975 are set to be the main players at Lollapalooza 2023.

RHCP have a lot to work with on the live circuit after the release of two brand new studio albums last year; Unlimited Love in April and Return Of The Dream Canteen in October.

“Just for the fun of it we jammed and learned some old songs,” the band said when announcing the latter.

Ben Howard has announced his first European tour in five years.

Added to the gig in London are more July UK shows at SWG3 Yard in Glasgow and the closing night of the run at Cardiff Castle.

Before then, touring is due at open at Madrid’s La Riviera venue on May 18th, while concerts in Dublin, Amsterdam and at Rock Werchter Festival are booked for June.

Bully‘s next studio record Lucky For You has been set for June 2nd and is being previewed today with Days Move Slow, a track written after the death of a beloved pet.

“As someone who has spent the majority of my life feeling agonisingly misunderstood, there is no greater gift than experiencing true unconditional love and acceptance,” Alicia Bognanno aka said of this time.

I waited my whole life for the bond and irreplaceable companionship I had with Mezzi. She was my best friend and my only constant through some of the most pivotal moments and phases of my life. I was a stranger to the level of love I now know exists because of Mezzi. Love you forever; I’m lucky for you.
