Alison Goldfrapp has announced the details of her debut solo album The Love Invention.
After over 20 years with Goldfrapp, The Love Invention has been primed as a return to the dancefloor – showcased now on lead single So Hard So Hot.
I wanted to do something that had that very clubby, acid-y feeling to it. But I wanted lightness to come out of the chorus – there’s tension there, as well as euphoric freedom.
A headline gig at Outernet in London has been booked for May 18th, while appearances at Glastonbury and the Manchester International Festival are also coming up later this year.
