Whenyoung have confirmed the details of their new album Paragon Songs.

It’ll be released on April 7th after writing sessions on the extremes of the west coast of Ireland and the east coast of England; looking at how, ‘Every step is a new time in your existence and noting it down marks it, celebrates it and reveals you to yourself’, according to Aoife Power:

“These lyrics represent who I am right now or who I’ve been the past year or two. My intention is to like myself and be kinder to myself. And so I can only present myself in the state that I am currently in which is healing not healed.”

Self Esteem’s new video for The 345 (Choose You Edit) is looking back on a hugely successful 18 months since the release of Prioritise Pleasure.

The recent release of a deluxe version has also been celebrating the record, adding acoustic versions to the tracklist featuring strings arranged by Colin Elliot.

“Any chance I get to work with Colin Elliot is a joy,” Rebecca Taylor said. “Singing the lyrics of Hobbies 2 over the most beautiful string arrangement was particularly joyful.”

White Lung premiered the video for Bird upon the release of their fifth and final album Premonition yesterday (December 2nd).

“Bird was written after I flew to Vancouver to record,” Mish Barber-Way explained. “After the flight, it was the first time I felt my son move in my womb.”

“It was wild and so touching, it felt like he was dancing on little strings across my belly. I wrote the song as a love song for him, imagining the day we would meet, who he would become. It all suddenly felt so real and absolutely beautiful.”

The Good Water have returned with the instrumental psych of new single Breadcrumbs.

“Breadcrumbs is a psychedelic journey through both space and time,” singer/guitarist Rob Clements said. “The track begins with a pulsating singularity, full of the anticipation of what’s to come.”

“Then, just like the universe itself, it bursts into existence with all the energy and potential that brings life and love into our cosmos.”
