“Yes Bonehead,” Liam Gallagher responded on Twitter.

Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs has received the all-clear from cancer, the founding Oasis member has revealed on Twitter.

Bonehead first shared the news that he would be undergoing treatment for tonsil cancer back in April, not long after he’d become a permanent member of Liam Gallagher‘s touring band.

And after intermittently offering progress reports to fans on social media since then, the news everyone had been hoping for was confirmed yesterday.

“Update on my cancer,” he wrote. “I had a full scan 10 days ago and it’s all clear, it’s gone. Thank you so much all of you for the messages I’ve had throughout, you’ve helped more than you know.”

“Thank you especially to the team at @TheChristieNHS. Into recovery now and see you all soon.”
