The Smiths’ Mike Joyce by Paul Husband (2022)
The Smiths’ final studio album is about to celebrate its 35th anniversary.
Mike Joyce has donated his original silver disc of The Smiths’ 1987 classic Strangeways, Here We Come to the Manchester-based charity Back On Track.
Fans can be in with a chance of winning the item by donating via the Just Giving page, on which Joyce writes:
“I’ve been working with Back on Track for the last few years and I’ve seen first hand the fantastic work that the charity does. I’m now taking this opportunity to try and generate some much needed funding for the people they support.”
“I wanted to have a raffle rather than an auction so that everyone who buys a ticket has an equal chance of owning it. Of course you can buy as many tickets as you wish and we want to raise as much as possible.”
