The Cribs top the latest UK Record Store Chart with their 2007 album ‘Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever’.

Ryan Jarman: “We didn’t expect anything like this, but it’s amazing. We really appreciate it because it means that people still care about the records. That’s not always going to be a given, all this time down the line. It’s been a pretty crazy last couple of days. We’re so psyched.”

A decade ago, The Official Charts Company began compiling the UK Record Store Chart to reflect the boom in vinyl sales which had begun during the previous decade. Its figures are taken from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
