Paolo Nutini headlined TRNSMT Festival last night.

Paolo Nutini is the new number one on the UK Record Store Chart with Last Night In The Bittersweet.

Gwenno’s Tresor is another high new entry at #3, while The Smile’s A Light For Attracting Attention drops a couple of places from last week and Fontaines D.C. re-enter the Top 20 with Skinty Fia.




A decade ago, The Official Charts Company began compiling the UK Record Store Chart to reflect the boom in vinyl sales which had begun during the previous decade. Its figures are taken from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
