Orbital will play events including Beyond The Pale, Kaleidoscope and Doune The Rabbit Hole during the coming summer festival season.

Orbital have compiled a new double album to celebrate their 30th anniversary.

On July 15th, 30 Something will mark the occasion with a collection of reworkings and remixes from their back catalogue, starting with Where Is It Going?, the track which originally was the duo’s contribution to the 2012 London Paralympics opening ceremony.

“This is our special Paralympic version of Where Is It Going?, featuring the fantastic Stephen Hawking,” Paul and Phil Hartnoll say.

“He’s tackling the big question of the unification of physics and the understanding of a theory of everything. We’re not there yet, we can’t even find a unification socially as a species but hopefully one day we will find out where we are going.”
