Mogwai have shared some new music ahead of their show at London’s Alexandra Palace on May 27th.
Mogwai have released Boltfor after initially laying down the track during the sessions for As The Love Continues at Vada Studios – the album which handed the band their first UK number one and a Mercury Prize nomination last year.
Work was completed at their own Castle Of Doom studios last month and it’s out now with a video directed by Sam Wiehl, who worked on the visuals for the As The Love Continues lead cut Ritchie Sacramento, and who is currently collaborating with Yann Tiersen on a live AV show.
“The video is a visual metaphor for the constant movement in life and the unceasing urge to move forward as individuals…in the form of a metaphysical road movie,” Wiehl explains.
