Johnny Marr among new entries on UK Record Store Chart

Johnny Marr

Central Cee is at number one ahead of Johnny Marr on the chart.

Johnny Marr’s latest solo album Fever Dreams Pts 1-4 is among the many new entries on this week’s UK Record Store Chart.

The likes of Tears For Fears, Gang Of Youths, Glasvegas and Keeley Forsyth also have debuts on the chart this week, while Sea Power are down from the top spot to #13 with Everything Was Forever.

A decade ago, The Official Charts Company began compiling the UK Record Store Chart to reflect the boom in vinyl sales which had begun during the previous decade. Its figures are taken from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
