Denzel Curry is prepping his new album ‘Melt My Eyez See Your Future’.
Denzel Curry has shared the video for new track Zatoichi, a collaboration with slowthai.
“I like traditional hip hop, I like drum and bass, I like trap, I like poetry, so a lot of that is going to be interwoven in this album including jazz and a lot of genres that I came up on as a kid and just being in my parents’ house,” he says.
“This album is made up of everything that I couldn’t give you on TA13OO or Imperial because I was going through depression anger issues.”
slowthai is no stranger collaboration too, the 2021 album TYRON packed with special guests such as Denzel himself, Skepta and James Blake.
“Music as therapy makes for surprising outcomes; TYRON is, like its creator, messy and sweet one moment, angry or mischievous the next,” our review reads.
“We’re all invited to his sessions – and this scribbled series of conversations with himself says there’s hope for the subject yet.”
