Lowlands Festival will be held in Biddinghuizen between August 19th -21st.

Arctic Monkeys, Liam Gallagher, Glass Animals, Michael Kiwanuka and Sam Fender are some of the big names confirmed for the Netherlands’ Lowlands Festival 2022.

The likes of Wet Leg, Yard Act, slowthai, The Murder Capital and Arlo Parks swell an impressive looking first wave as Liam Gallagher adds to yet another busy year of outdoor festival and headline appearances.

“Given that Bonehead is up on stage here with him, that his son Gene comes out to bang a snare for one song to the interest of no-one but himself and the old man, that there’s nothing but a few cursory nods to As You Were and Why Me. Why Not? during the near two hours, whether all this success is now entirely reliant on the levels of nostalgia normally reserved for joint boyband tours is certainly up for debate,” our review from last year’s Isle Of Wight Festival reads.

“But it’s certainly not a debate to be had during one of his gigs, when the spectacle and sheer community of an Oasis concert is so tangible 1996 can almost be reached out and touched.”

“If Noel Gallagher was the voice of a generation, then Liam Gallagher was the voice of the voice of a generation, and here it’s sounding as good as it has in over 20 years.”
