Band Of Skulls duo Russell Marsden and Emma Richardson have released their first album as Marsden And Richardson on this New Music Friday – have a listen right here:
Marsden And Richardson have said their temporary move away from Band Of Skulls was in order to work on music which they had, ‘been dreaming about since their earliest songwriting days’.
It was previewed back in the summer of last year with the debut single Outsider – ‘a song about strength, vulnerability and identity’ – and officially announced the following November with another single, Beautiful Love.
“Tales of many experiences and emotions,” they’ve said of the record. “Never before explored sonic landscapes and hidden corners. Sometimes raw and equally luxurious. Of being a songwriter and of being alive. Love and heartbreak, glory and failure, always hoping for forgiveness.”
