Muse’s Matt Bellamy says the song is about, ‘standing your ground against bullies, whether that be on the playground, at work or anywhere’.
Muse have premiered the official video for their new single Won’t Stand Down.
Teased by Matt Bellamy towards the end of last year, it’s a taste of the band’s follow-up to the 2018 LP Simulation Theory, while the promo was directed by Jared Hogan in Kyiv, Ukraine.
“Protecting yourself from coercion and sociopathic manipulation and to face adversity with strength, confidence and aggression,” Bellamy adds.
