Mike Skinner had been due to tour the UK with The Streets next month.
Mike Skinner has revealed his decision to cancel all of The Streets’ live plans for 2022, citing current Covid guidelines as the reason.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I have to say that we have decided to cancel all live performances for 2022,” he’s written on social media.
“It is not fair to keep taking your money for tickets knowing that with 1 case of Covid, the whole thing has to stop. I’m really sorry to disappoint you. This has been the worst week of the worst year of my life.”
January and February next year were set to bring shows in Sheffield, Bristol, Nottingham, London, Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and Liverpool, as well as a five-night residency at The Mill in Birmingham.
