Black Pumas received Album and Record Of The Year nominations at the 2021 Grammys Awards.
Texan duo Black Pumas were at the London Roundhouse last night (November 7th) as their UK and European touring continued.
The pair are out on the road after their self-titled debut album was followed up during the summer with a video for their cover of Rodriguez’s single Sugar Man, ‘one of those songs they’ve both been attracted to for years’, according to Adrian Quesada.
“From Rodriguez’s songwriting and performance to the production of Dennis Coffey, it’s inspired us in more ways than one and is one of those true timeless pieces of music,” he added. “It was a total blast to dissect it and reinterpret in our voice.”
