Oasis’ documentary of their two record-breaking 1996 concerts was released to cinemas in September.

The fourth studio record from Adele and the live album which has accompanied Oasis’ Knebworth 1996 film are the highest new entries on the UK Record Store Chart.

Idles are going strong for another week, meanwhile, with Crawler next up at #3, while more chart debuts from Elbow’s Flying Dream 1 and Robert Plant & Alison Krauss’ Raise The Roof complete the Top 5.

It’s nine years since The Official Charts Company launched this chart as vinyl sales surged during the last decade, a trend which continued in 2020 as the format grew for the 13th consecutive year. It is compiled from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
