Orlando Weeks will release his new solo album on January 14th next year.
Orlando Weeks has added some low-key UK dates to the tour he’s got coming up next year.
That’ll take place in March 2022 after the release of Hop Up, and he should be match-fit for it once the newly announced shows have gone ahead in Tunbridge Wells, Ramsgate, Southampton, London, Margate, Bedford and Bath next month.
“It started with the idea of wanting to fill in some of the blanks that I felt I had left with A Quickening, but quite quickly it turned into something broader,” Weeks has said of his new album.
“The choice was always to take the more positive and uplifting sounding step. Perhaps it shouldn’t have, but as an approach it felt surprisingly novel to me.”
