Playing to a packed and sweaty crowd of admiring faces, Do Nothing’s headline show at Glasgow’s iconic King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut did not disappoint.

Do Nothing were at the mid-point of what they described to be ‘the most enjoyable and fulfilling tour’ that they have ever been on as a band.

Mid-tour shows are not always easy, and sometimes it takes more effort to maintain energy and spirit after considerable amounts of time away from noiselessness, hot food and clean laundry. Nevertheless, their set was lively, loud and massively enjoyed by the audience, some of whom knew every single lyric and were not afraid to belt them back at the band.

This, combined with a tenacity and dynamism, meant that the show was impactful and memorable. The tracks were boisterous and animated, and it was evident that it was not just the audience that were enjoying the show, the band were too.

While we await their debut album, Do Nothing have released several electrifying singles and EPs, and after countless stressful and wearing months of fans and performers anxiously awaiting the re-opening of venues and live music, this was an outstanding set. Boy, is it good to be back!
