“I’m absolutely buzzing that I’ll be playing Knebworth Park,” Liam Gallagher says. “It’s gonna be biblical.”

Liam Gallagher has confirmed his third solo album C’MON YOU KNOW will be released on May 27th next year.

With it is news that he’ll celebrate the 25th anniversary of Oasis’ two nights at Knebworth Park in 1996 with a gig a there on June 4th, 2022 when support will be provided by Kasabian, Michael Kiwanuka, Goat Girl and Fat White Family.

The huge concert comes after the completion of a busy festival season for Gallagher, when Live4ever caught him headlining Isle Of Wight last month.

“Given that Bonehead is up on stage here with him, that his son Gene comes out to bang a snare for one song to the interest of no-one but himself and the old man, that there’s nothing but a few cursory nods to As You Were and Why Me. Why Not? during the near two hours, whether all this success is now entirely reliant on the levels of nostalgia normally reserved for joint boyband tours is certainly up for debate,” our review reads.

“But it’s certainly not a debate to be had during one of his gigs, when the spectacle and sheer community of an Oasis concert is so tangible 1996 can almost be reached out and touched. If Noel Gallagher was the voice of a generation, then Liam Gallagher was the voice of the voice of a generation, and here it’s sounding as good as it has in over 20 years.”
