Let off the leash, with a 2020 album to tour and a brand new one ready to go next month, Idles were back in New York last Friday night (October 15th) – check out our gallery below.
We’ve been there on both sides of the Atlantic to witness Idles’ return to the live stage, having also soaked up the gig at Bristol Louisiana in August as part of their summer UK tour.
“In a time when we’ve been isolated (yet still divided), lyrics such as ‘this snowflake’s an avalanche’ resonant more than surely even the band thought possible back in 2017,” our review reads.
“The need for human contact has never been stronger and, although some gig etiquette will need to be relearned, with their laudable intent of promoting progressive values, few are better suited than IDLES to lead the way. Quite simply, one of those nights where superlatives aren’t enough.”
