The Subways’ rescheduled UK tour continues in Nottingham on September 30th.

As our last gig before lockdown, it was good to be on the other side with The Subways as the band played the Kentish Town Forum in London on Saturday night (September 25th).

These shows mark the resumption of their anniversary touring behind debut album Young For Eternity after it was interrupted by the pandemic, but they’re also at the start of a brand new chapter after their signing with Alcopop! Records and the recent release of new single Fight.

“Fight is a letter in two parts: a gesture of solidarity with the Black community and communities of colour, as they face their daily oppression at the hands of systemic racism; and it’s a wake-up-call to the white community that such oppressions do in fact exist, and that we must acknowledge these oppressions and fight alongside marginalised communities as allies,” Billy Lunn said.
