Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to reveal all the details in due course.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced their intention to embark on a global tour next year.
The third stint in the band for John Frusciante is one of those much anticipated musical events that’s been largely on hold thanks to the pandemic after his return was confirmed in 2019 with Josh Klinghoffer, who had replaced him in 2009, going in the opposite direction.
“The Red Hot Chili Peppers announce that we are parting ways with our guitarist of the past ten years, Josh Klinghoffer,” a statement from the band at the time read. “Josh is a beautiful musician who we respect and love. We are deeply grateful for our time with him, and the countless gifts he shared with us.”
“We also announce, with great excitement and full hearts, that John Frusciante is rejoining our group.”
