Parquet Courts unveiled their new album earlier this month.
Parquet Courts have today shared more from the Sympathy For Life LP which will be released on October 22nd.
Black Widow Spider comes with a video directed and animated by Shayne Ehman, as well as extensive touring plans for next year which will bring them to the UK in June 2022.
“We were inspired by the claymation master Art Clokey,” Ehmman says. “I wanted the video to feel like it was shot in the 1950’s and so I used very old lenses. One was a brass projection lens from the 1860’s and another was radioactive.”
Those UK gigs will take place in Brighton, London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Birmingham, while there’s also a date booked at Helix in Dublin on June 11th.
