Dot To Dot Festival will be held in Bristol on September 25th and Nottingham on the 26th.
Dot To Dot Festival is all set for its return this weekend with headliners Sports Team, Palace and Girl Band ready to go.
Behind them there’s plenty more of the best in new music right now; artists such as Chubby And The Gang, Oscar Lang, Black Honey, Sorry, Do Nothing, Grandma’s House, Eve Owen and Blondes all to be found somewhere around the city centres of Bristol and Nottingham during those two hectic days.
Sports Team have been getting more than most out of the return of live music this summer, after Live4ever witnessed what proved to be one of their last pre-lockdown shows back in Bristol in November 2019.
“Rice has all the classic tricks of a frontman with, if you’ll (please) forgive the phrase, moves like Jagger, and bearing a resemblance to him too,” the review reads.
“Strikingly good looking (even in a white suit), he teases the crowd by dangling his mic stand (adorned with flowers) over the top of the crowd. He hugs every stage-diver (one young man in particular must have jumped on stage about five times), and as he himself declares in the lyrics to Fishing, this young man is a lover, not a fighter.”
