Plans which ABBA first discussed back in 2017 have finally been announced.

ABBA have returned with new music and a virtual concert experience which will run in London next year.

40 years on from when their last album The Visitors preceded the 1982 split, one of the biggest selling pop acts of all time have set Voyage for release on November 5th, unveiling two of its tracks – I Still Have Faith In You and Don’t Shut Me Down – in the process.

“When Benny played the melody, I just knew it had to be about us,” Bjorn Ulvaeus has said of the former.

“It’s about realising that it’s inconceivable to be where we are. No imagination could dream up that, to release an album after 40 years and still be the best of friends, and still be enjoying each other’s company, and have a total loyalty.”

Running from May-September 2022, the concerts will be held at a purpose built arena at Olympic Park in London, featuring avatars of the four band-members accompanied by a a 10-piece live band.
