If it needed a safe pair of hands after the late withdrawal Queens Of The Stone Age from the line-up due to Covid restrictions, Biffy Clyro were certainly that.
No strangers to headlining Reading/Leeds during the past decade, the group are indeed a regular fixture at the top of festival bills up and down the UK these days, bringing crowd-pleasing, mass appeal shows to packed fields in the way bands such as Foo Fighters have made a living from.
“We are delighted and honoured to be headlining Reading & Leeds for a third time, we cannot wait to get out there and play for you all again after such a tough year,” the trio said when their booking was confirmed just last month.
