Inhaler immediately lead more new entries from Tom Odell and Turin Brakes.

Inhaler have made it a UK chart double with It Won’t Always Be Like This.

Sitting pretty at the top of the main chart rundown, the band’s debut album has also proved to be the most popular at independent record shops since its release last week, and is at the head of a Top 10 which also features Wolf Alice and Sophie.

It’s now nine years since The Official Charts Company launched this chart as vinyl sales surged during the last decade, a trend which continued in 2020 as the format grew for the 13th consecutive year. It is compiled from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
