Tramlines and Richard Ashcroft will be at Hillsborough Park between July 23rd-25th.

Main acts Richard Ashcroft, The Streets and Royal Blood – together with other confirmed artists such as Little Simz, The Lathums and Jake Bugg – can look forward to performing at a full capacity Tramlines Festival next month.

Organisers have confirmed the Sheffield event will be a part of the next phase of the UK government’s pilot scheme for the return of live music – one whose success so far they’ve only just deemed fit to make public.

“We are absolutely delighted to be able to confirm that Tramlines 2021 is going ahead, having accepted the government’s invitation to join the Events Research Programme,” operations director Timm Cleasby remarks

“This means we have a proven framework to follow, which at previous events has shown that festivals can be enjoyed at no more risk than other activities. Once inside, there will be no need for social distancing and no one will have to wear a mask if they don’t want to.”

Those wishing to attend will either need to register a negative LFT result 48 hours before, or have proof of double vaccination.
