Ed Sheeran has confirmed the details of his new single Bad Habits.

“I’ve been working away in the studio over recent months and I can’t wait for you to hear Bad Habits,” he says. “I always aim to push myself and my music in new directions and hopefully you’ll hear that on the new single. Feels great to be back!”

Coldplay have premiered an official promo for their recent single Higher Power.

“The video is a metaphor for how, right now, we all feel alienated, far removed from our world, almost like we’re on an alien planet,” its director Dave Meyers says. “And ultimately we find love in the streets and that euphoria shoots us off into the stratosphere of our own energy and higher power.”

If there was ever a sign of live music making a return in the UK, it surely has to be The Courteeners announcing a huge outdoor gig in Manchester.

The band will play the Old Trafford cricket ground on September 25th, 2021, and started ticket sales from last Friday, June 11th.

Richard Ashcroft will play two more acoustic shows, in Liverpool and London, later this year as he looks to get his live work back into gear.

The Verve frontman has long had a couple of dates at the London Palladium planned, those set to take place on October 16th and 17th, and is also due to appear at this year’s Splendour In Nottingham and Victorious festivals.
