Courtney Barnett will start a tour of North America in Las Vegas on November 29th.

The tour details have come with news of a new album being due later this year, and of its supporting artists Bartees Strange, Julia Jacklin and Shamir.

Bullet For My Valentine will put out their seventh, self-titled studio album on October 22nd.

“I think it’s the most ferocious side of Bullet For My Valentine that I’ve ever known,” believes lead guitarist Michael Paget. “It’s time for us to put out a really angry, heavy, aggressive record. I just can’t wait to grimace on stage!”

Tyler, The Creator is back with a brand new single entitled LUMBERJACK, completed with a self-directed video under his Wolf Haley alias.

It ends a pretty quiet time since IGOR, but he did pop up as a guest producer on a couple of things last year, including the remix of La Roux’s Automatic Driver single after Elly Jackson had made an appearance on that aforementioned LP.

The Beatles

The details of Peter Jackson’s documentary The Beatles: Get Back have been revealed.

Using the same techniques which vividly brought to life the horrors of the Western Front on his They Shall Not Grow Old film, Jackson has also been using the hours of unseen footage from The Beatles’ original Get Back production to put a whole new spin on the underwhelming, gloomy finished product which arrived in 1970 and was quickly labelled as the visual evidence of a band falling apart.

Billie Eilish, Coldplay and Dua Lipa will be in the desert later this year for the iHeartRadio Festival.

Also heading to Vegas in September are the likes of Weezer, Olivia Rodrigo, Maroon 5, Khalid, Nelly, All Time Low and Yungblud – it’s going to be ‘historic for many reasons’, according to the event’s Tom Poleman.

Transgressive Records have announced the signing of Damon Albarn as the prolific songwriter puts the finishes touches to his follow-up to Everyday Robots.

“We have had the great pleasure of collaborating with Damon over the years via the incredible Africa Express project, which has introduced many gifted artists to the Transgressive world,” a statement from the label’s co-founder Toby L reads.
