Green Day are looking forward to finally being able to start their Hella Mega Tour on the new track Pollyanna.
The European part of the tour, which would’ve begun in May 2020 had world events not taken over, is not due to take place until the spring of 2022, but gigs in their homeland with Fall Out Boy and Weezer are far more imminent, starting on July 14th this year in Seattle.
The shows will give Green Day a chance to play last year’s Father Of All… album for their fans, a record Live4ever summed up as one which, ‘underscores their importance without ever giving itself a chance of winning fresh hearts and minds’.
