The sixth St. Vincent album is due for release on May 14th.
St. Vincent has shared The Melting Of The Sun, the second single from her forthcoming LP Daddy’s Home.
Like the lead off Pay Your Way In Pain, it’s acting as a preview of a collection of songs which Annie Erin Clark has described as, ‘stories of being down and out in downtown NYC’.
“Last night’s heels on the morning train,” she added. “Glamour that’s been up for three days straight.”
The Melting Of The Sun is likely to feature when St. Vincent guests on Saturday Night Live tomorrow.
