The single continues Trampolene’s association with Peter Doherty; released on the Libertines’ man’s new label Strap Originals.

Trampolene have released their new single Oh Lover today, produced by Liam Gallagher and Baxter Dury cohort Mike Moore.

“‘Oh Lover started as a one-way message from a boy to a girl about their long distance love affair, but as the pandemic became the new reality, it morphed into a song about being apart indefinitely,” Jack Jones says.

“But now in a world that was unrecognisable and where nothing made sense and everything has changed.”

Roger Sargent directed the video at a Bedfordshire windfarm, with Cormac McCarthy’s novel The Road at the forefront of his mind.

The band have been regulars on Live4ever’s end-of-year lists for quite some time now; delivering our #1 track of 2014 with I Don’t Know and one of our top albums of 2017 thanks to Swansea To Hornsey.
