Steve Jones and his memoir Lonely Boy: Tales From A Sex Pistol is the focus of the upcoming Sex Pistols biopic from Danny Boyle.
The first glimpse (pic) of Danny Boyle’s forthcoming Sex Pistols series Pistol has been shared.
It presents Toby Wallace as Steve Jones, Anson Boon – of the acclaimed film 1917 among other things – as John Lydon, Jacob Slater as Paul Cook and Christian Lees as Glen Matlock, filming now underway in London on the project which was first announced back in January.

“Imagine breaking into the world of The Crown and Downton Abbey with your mates and screaming your songs and your fury at all they represent,” Danny Boyle said at the time.
“This is the moment that British society and culture changed forever. It is the detonation point for British street culture, where ordinary young people had the stage and vented their fury and their fashion, and everyone had to watch and listen, and everyone feared them or followed them.”
