Sleeper will join Richard Ashcroft and Supergrass at Splendour Festival.
Richard Ashcroft and Supergrass have led the announcement of Splendour Festival’s return.
The event is due back at Wollaton Park in Nottingham on July 24th, and has some Britpop nostalgia high on the agenda.
This’ll continue a much more prolific period in Ashcroft’s solo career, a period which started in 2016 with These People and continued just recently via cover of John Lennon’s Mind Games implore Bring On The Lucie (Freda Peeple).
The Verve frontman had been at Abbey Road with producers Steve Wyreman and Chris Potter for the recording, and also spent time at Redtone Studios in East Palo Alto, California.
Also part of all this was Natural Rebel in 2018, an album which proved ‘middle-age is a good place to be’ according to Live4ever’s review.
