Alas, the hard work of Neighbourhood Weekender organisers hasn’t impressed Ian Brown.

Neighbourhood Weekender is another event moving to later in the year in order for its 2021 edition to go ahead.

“Following the recent government announcement we are moving Neighbourhood Weekender to Friday 3, Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 September 2021,” organisers have confirmed.

Those in attendance for another welcome piece of the live music return jigsaw include James, Gerry Cinnamon, Catfish And The Bottlemen and Sam Fender.

One artist who won’t be there though is Ian Brown, due to his objection to this whole, scientific community making giant, unprecedented strides to get us all back to some kind of normality nonsense.

“My Saturday night headline show at NHBD Weekender Festival will now not happen!,” he’s written on social media. “I refuse to accept vaccination proof as condition of entry. Refunds are available!”

That’ll show ’em.
