Maximo Park scored their (to-date) highest UK chart position with their second studio album.
Maximo Park have announced two UK shows for later this year when they’ll be playing 2007’s Our Earthly Pleasures in full.
The gigs are booked on September 7th at the Pryzm in Kingston and on the 8th at Leeds Beckett Uni, with more seemingly to come…
“We’re super excited about the September shows we’ve just announced: with a new album to play AND all of ‘Our Earthly Pleasures’, some of which we haven’t played live for over a decade!,” the band said on social media.

Following up 2005’s riot of a debut A Certain Trigger, Maximo Park peaked at #2 on the UK Album Chart with Our Earthly Pleasures (a position which might well be bettered on Friday with Nature Always Wins), propelled by singles such as Our Velocity and Girls Who Play Guitars.
