Lana Del Rey tops UK Record Store Chart with Chemtrails Over The Country Club

Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey wasted no time in announcing a follow-up to the album earlier this week.

Lana Del Rey is at number one on the UK Record Store Chart after the release of Chemtrails Over The Country Club.

New entries dominate the latest Top 10; Black Honey, William Doyle, Taylor Swift, Green Day and Bob Dylan some of those debuting there, whilst Black Country, New Road have another week in the Top 20 courtesy of their debut record ‘For the first time’.

It’s now nine years since The Official Charts Company launched this chart as vinyl sales surged during the last decade, a trend which continued in 2020 as the format grew for the 13th consecutive year. It is compiled from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
