It’ll be the first James album on their new home of Virgin Music Label & Artists Services.
James have set All The Colours Of You for release on June 4th, and are streaming its title-track now.
The band worked remotely with producer Jacknife Lee on the sessions for their latest record – ‘a miraculous conception and another big jump forward on the back of the last three albums’, according to Tim Booth.
“I hope it reflects the colours of these crazy times. Sweet sixteen is a proper album, no fillers and is up there with our best,” he continues.
“I’m pleased, proud and surprised by this record in equal amounts,” Jim Glennie adds. “Jacknife has pushed us and the songs somewhere new and it’s very exciting. After all these years, we are still challenging ourselves and our fans.”
A UK and Ireland tour has also been announced, the band planning on making their live return at the fitting venue of Leeds’ First Direct Arena. The Happy Mondays will be in support.
