“Super happy to announce that we’ll be playing Clifton Downs on Friday 3 September 2021 in our biggest ever homecoming show,” Idles say. “We can’t wait to see you all again. It’s been too long.”

Idles will be going outdoors in their hometown for a gig at Clifton Downs in Bristol later this year.

If last year’s Ultra Mono record has seemed to lack a bit of the magic of its two landmark predecessors, the approaching relaunch of live music in the UK which we’ve all got our fingers crossed for should help sprinkle some overdue fairy dust on Idles’ third studio effort, their music more than most thriving and finding true meaning in the communal glory of the band’s live shows.

Special guests are yet to be announced, while a general sale of tickets opens at 9am UK time on Friday, April 2nd.
