Kings Of Leon will soon be joining Sleaford Mods and Arlo Parks in releasing a new studio album.
Kings Of Leon, Sleaford Mods and Arlo Parks all helped to kick off the new series of Later…With Jools Holland on the BBC yesterday.
Remote performances of Bandit by Kings Of Leon and Caroline by Arlo Parks can be viewed below, as can Sleaford Mods’ airing of Mork N Mindy, complete with guest vocalist Billy Nomates.
“We were already big fans of both of them,” Jason Williamson said of the collaborations on Spare Ribs during an interview with Live4ever.
“Tor befriended Andrew on Instagram and then sent him some music which we really liked, and then I ended up contributing a vocal to her album.”
“On Mork N Mindy, we already had a vocal line in mind which was OK when I sang it, but we knew was perfect for her. And with Nudge It (featuring Taylor), we knew what she could bring as we ‘d already met her when we last toured Australia.”
“All of it took longer than we’d expected though due to lockdown because everything had to be done remotely, but it was worth it as for me they’re the best tracks on the album.”
