Unreleased live Clash classics included on new Joe Strummer compilation Assembly

Assembly is described as a collection of ‘carefully curated Joe Strummer singles, fan favourites and archival rarities’.

Previously unreleased live versions of The Clash favourites Rudie Can’t Fail and I Fought The Law are two of the stand-out inclusions on the latest Joe Strummer compilation set for release.

Out via Dark Horse Records on March 26th, Assembly is to be available on gatefold 2LP black vinyl, CD and digital formats, concentrating on the solo career of The Clash icon.

Thus, as well as those Clash rarities, solo cuts such as Coma Girl, Johnny Appleseed, Yalla Yalla (with The Mescaleros) and a cover of Bob Marley’s classic Redemption Song are among the tracklist.
