black midi will be at Wide Awake after joining Squid for a Christmas-time livestream from The Windmill.
What a time it could be to make your debut on the UK festival calendar; Wide Awake is set to be held for the first time in London later this year, and a line-up confirmed today to include black midi and Dream Wife should help it to start in style.
“We’re incredibly excited to finally be able to bring this very special show to London this September,” organiser Marcus Weedon says.
“It’s been a tough year for everyone, not least the festival and event industry, and we have been working very hard to ensure Wide Awake is brilliantly curated with the safety of everyone at the forefront.”
“We cannot wait to open our gates and welcome both fans and artists in what is going to be an incredibly special event this year.”
Also confirmed for Brockwell Park on September 3rd are the likes of ACR, Daniel Avery and Songhoy Blues.
