The Coral unveil new double album Coral Island, lead single Faceless Angel

The Coral

The Coral will release their tenth album on April 30th.

The inhabitants of Coral Island will be gradually introduced to us during the coming weeks via audio and visual portraits conceived and created by artist Edwin Burdis.

It starts with Faceless Angel, the first single from The Coral’s new double album which was recorded at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool.

The sculptures and found artifacts are presented by Burdis on the Faceless Angel promo with 360 degree footage filmed inside and out, bringing to life the installation which is to provide the artwork for the Coral Island album and its future singles.

All this amounts to an ambitious follow-up to 2018’s Move Through The Dawn, on which they had ‘broadened the pallet once more, with several pleasant splashes of colour across the record’ according to Live4ever’s review.
