Taylor Swift has called it a ‘sister record’ to ‘folklore’.

The ninth studio album of Taylor Swift’s career, ‘evermore’, has been given a quick deadline of midnight (EST) tonight.

Like ‘folklore’ before it, the announcement has come out of the blue, Swift saying she and her ‘folklore’ collaborators including The National’s Aaron Dessner and Justin Vernon ‘just couldn’t stop writing songs’:

“To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music,” Swift has said on social media.

“We chose to wander deeper in. I’ve never done this before. In the past I’ve always treated albums as one-off eras and moved onto planning the next one after an album was released.”

Live4ever gave ‘folklore’ a strong 8/10 in our review, declaring it, ‘a pleasure to meet such a talented weaver of stories without any other distractions’.
