Parquet Courts will be celebrating in Brooklyn.
When they started out a decade ago, Parquet Courts probably didn’t think their 10th anniversary would arrive amidst a global pandemic, but as the band have pointed, it will bring a certain continuity to what they have planned to celebrate the occasion.
“Ten years ago, our adventure began by playing our first show to virtually no one, and to celebrate we’ve decided to play a show to everyone, virtually,” they’ve said in a statement.
The gig to mark their ten years together as a band has been arranged for the Brooklyn Pioneer Works, live-streamed on December 10th, with early bird tickets for fans in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia available now.
Parquet Courts were last with us in 2018 with their sixth record Wide Awake!, containing the Total Football single which quickly became one of Live4ever’s favourites of the 2010s.
