New Order go back to 2018 with new release.

After seeing their live plans, like so many others, for this year fall by the wayside, New Order will be remembering simpler times in April 2021 with the multiple format release of their November 2018 gig at the Alexandra Palace in London.

“On this day in 2018 the band performed a sold out show at the Alexandra Palace,” they wrote on Twitter yesterday.

“The full concert will be released on multiple formats in April next year, in the meantime, here’s a little something to tide you over until then.”

This announcement follows the standalone single Be A Rebel which was unveiled back in September. The band pressed ahead with its release after it was initially planned to coincide with their co-headline tour of North America with Pet Shop Boys – dates which are now due to take place in the autumn of next year.
