Paul Weller has packed up five remixes of tracks from his recent On Sunset album for the November 27th release of a new EP via heavyweight 12” vinyl.

Skeleton Key – AKA James Skelly of The Coral – helms the first remix, of More, while Senegalese drummer Seckou Keita has stripped back Rockets, a track psych-folk singer Jane Weaver has also put her spin on, and there’s new versions too of Old Father Thyme from Gwenno and On Sunset from Le SuperHomard.

“Ironically for someone regarded as one of the most insightful lyricists during his time in The Jam, Weller is no longer particularly heralded for this talent,” our album review reads.

“Yet, he’s no less powerful in his seventh decade, albeit understandably more sanguine: the wistful Village could be the final song in the film of his life (‘saw myself for what I am, found the whole world in my hands’), while on the Ziggy Stardust-esque Rockets, which screams ‘grand finale’, he rails once more against the establishment (‘nothing in the chambers is worth nothing at all’).”

On Sunset The Remix EP tracklist:
