Nothing But Thieves have beaten Bruce Springsteen to the top of the UK Record Store Chart after the release of their new album Moral Panic.

Gorillaz are another high new entry with Season One of their Song Machine collaboration series, as is This Is The Kit courtesy of Off Off On. Only The Vamps keep a place in the Top 20 from last week, but there are re-entries for Prince, Suede, Sports Team and Lewis Capaldi.

The Official Charts Company launched the UK Record Store Chart in 2012 to reflect the last decade’s drive to support independent music outlets and the concurrent surge in vinyl sales. It is compiled from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
